ICC Director General Met with MBA Group from Yale University

In the afternoon of March 21, Director General of International Cooperation Center Cao Wenlian met with a visiting group from the School of Management of Yale University and gave a lecture on China's macro economic situation, "One Belt and One Road" initiative and international production capacity cooperation. The two sides had dynamic interactions and discussions during the meeting.

The Yale group, led by Professor Frank Xiaohu Zhang, consisted of 30 MBA students. ICC started the ICC-Yale Global Leadership Program in cooperation with the School of Management of Yale University in 2012 and to date has sponsored two sessions successfully. A field trip to the U.S. for students of the third session has been launched lately. The program has grown into a unique platform for promoting high-level dialogues and cooperations between Chinese companies and domestic as well as international political and business elites. The current meeting was the Yale group's first visit to ICC and an integral part of their MBA course. Through it, the Yale group would like to learn working mechanisms of high-end think tanks of the National Development and Reform Commission and have a deeper understanding and perspective of macroeconomic trends. Director of the ICC Globalization Institute and Head of the ICC-Yale Program Tao Zhen chaired the meeting and delivered welcome remarks.

Deputy Division Chief of Strategic Research Sheng Sixin, Research Analyst Wu Zhenru, Head of the Information Office and Yale Ph.D. Huang Hongyu, Interpreter Zhao Wei, and Zhao Mingkang from the Globalization Institute were also present.
